Laura has been married to the love of her life, Shawn for the past 32 years. They have seen the peaks and the valleys together. God has been and continues to be faithful to them. They have three daughters and two son-in-law's who fill our lives and give them great joy. And now they rejoice with the birth of their first grandbaby; Gwen Presley Wright. They are so incredibly thankful to God who is their Lord and Savior. Laura and Shawn both serve in our local church. Shawn, who serves as the leader of care groups, and Laura serving as the Women’s Ministry Coordinator for the past 14 years. During this time, the Holy Spirit has given her such a desire to study and share the love of His word with others. God lavishly loves us. He is a God who sees, and pursues the hearts of us to draw us unto him. Laura believes God has placed a deep desire in her heart to serve Him, to know him. It's contagious really, to know and love and Jesus. She would cherish the opportunity to share Him with you at your next women’s event. Her husband, family, are all in this together as they believe that God has led her to this. Lavishly Loved Ministry, is covered in prayer by all of them.
Laura felt the call to speak to women some 30 years ago in college speech class where I attended Clark Summit University. She is the youngest of four siblings where she grew up as a "PK". God has given her a powerful testimony of what it means to be made in God's image and battling the lies that the deceiver would have us all believe. Her story is in "Mirror, Mirror on the Wall." In 2020, God led her back to college to complete her Associates degree at Clarks Summit University in Bible and Theology. She graduated in May of 2023.
In 2016, Lavishly Loved Ministry began. Based on Deuteronomy 7:9, Her desire is first, that women know Jesus as their personal savior, that His grace is greater than all our sin, and that His love for us is for a thousand generations. Lavishly Loved is what she believes God's word says about all who have put their hope in Him. Women need to know and believe that God is truly enough for them, and that He is the lover of their souls.
She would cherish the opportunity to come and share Gods truth at your next special women's event, MOPS morning, or conference.
