Statement of Faith

 

I believe there is one and only one living and true God, an infinite Spirit, the Maker and supreme Ruler of Heaven and earth; inexpressibly glorious in holiness, and worthy of all possible honor, confidence, and love; that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in every divine perfection and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption.

I believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that Christ died for our sins, that He was buried and that He rose again on the third day. 1Corinthians15:3,4


I believe that the Bible, Genesis to Revelation is the inerrant and inspired word of God.  I believe that all scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. 1Timothy 3:16-17 ; 2 Peter 1:19–21


I believe that Jesus is “the way, the truth and the life. John 14:6


I believe if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9


I believe God is a patient God not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9


I believe that “salvation is found in no one else for there is no other name, Jesus Christ under heaven given to man by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12


I believe that it is by grace we are saved through faith and it is nothing we can do to earn our salvation. It is a free gift to us for us to receive. Ephesians 2:8,9


I believe that “if we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.” 1 John 1:8-10


I believe that we have been “baptized in the Spirit into one body.” 1 Corinthians 12:13


I believe we have different strengths and abilities given to us to bring Glory and to Glorify God. 1 Corinthians 12:4-5


I believe we have been sanctified by the Holy Spirit after redemption for the purpose of producing life changing fruit-love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and self- control the final accomplishment of this process at the Lord’s return.
